Yin for Stress & Anxiety- Workshop

This will be the most relaxing regenerative thing you have done all year. An hour and 45 minutes of pure bliss to refill your cup. We are living more fast-paced crazy lives than ever, and our nervous systems are not designed for this. This is why we often don't feel good, why we don't have energy, and why we need time to slow down and re-fill our cups. This is perfect for anyone that feels stressed, anxious, low on energy, low in mood more often than they would like or people who are too wired and have trouble sleeping. if this sounds like you than join us for a Sunday “Self Care” day!

You will spend time in gentle yin poses with props to support you, as well as massage balls to release trigger points in tight muscles. All poses are seated or lying down so you can really relax and calm your nervous system right down. We hold poses for longer so you can really relax into them and let your heart rate and breath slow right down.

Yin is a type of yoga that targets the deep muscle tissues of the body called fascia where trigger points (or knots) can form when you’re stressed. The deep stretches in yin work to release pain and tension in the fascia by holding passive postures for an extended period of time, allowing the fascia to soften and release. This workshop will allow you to de stress, lower your anxiety and reconnect back to your self.

All props are provided, just bring two towels to drape over the props you are given and a water bottle. Please arrive 15 mins early so that you can settle into the space.
